A few "Region 2" users have voiced a desire to add "Steel Book" as a case type.

I am in Region 1 and only have 1 of these.

If you want this case type added, this is the place to voice your reason.

Well, there's quite a few out (or coming out) in region 1 (I currently own 5) and this Tuesday a few more are coming out, so it's still worth having even for region 1 folks.

As much as i dislike them, yes, we need it. I'd say 50% of the new 2-Disc releases in Germany come as Steelbooks, Steel Paks or similar metallic cases.

There's actually quite a few of the "Steel Books" being released on R1 now. Best Buy is stocking a bunch of them in stores...mostly from Fox. I don't think any are actually BB exclusives, except for the X-Men 1.5.

Yes, I think, we need something like "Steel Book" or "Metal Case", because of the fact, that there are many of this releases.

For those unclear what a "Steel Book" is, follow the link below.

Steel Book

"The Departed" (Region 1) is in one of these cases.

Yes - Please add this, there are enough to justify the new case type.

I got a few now (X-Men3, Appleseed...) this could be a great addition for type of case

Not strictly needed, but it would still be a nice addition.

I am surprised this was not already added to release 3.0. As this is the most used method of wrapping up collector's items today.

Considering the number of esp German R2 DVD released in those cases I'd say YES.

I'm not sure I've ever even seen one of these, but if they are becoming fairly common then add it.

Yes, because (in case of Germany) more and more DVDs will be released and re-released in this case type and I think this will continue.
Not desperate.

Studios here in Portugal are using them quite commonly for the collector's editions for the last year or so. So, another vote for.
