| Posted: | | | | Hi I just got an HTC Vox which has Windows Mobile 6.0. I tried to install DVD profiler Mobile 1.0 and when it came time to install the .net compact mobile framework, it failed becasue there was a newer version of the framework on my device. Then when i ran the DVD prodiler mobile application it quit with an unexpected error. I am taking from all this that DVD Profiler Mobile does not yet support Windows Mobile 6.0 devices. Is this true? and if so, when will there be a release that support Windows Mobile 6.0? Thx, Craig |

| Posted: | | | | Hi! I also have the same problem with my HTC S710 Smart phone with Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard edition on it. It also complains about the newer version of the framework and unexpected error, unsupported exception. I really hope there will soon come a new release that supports this version or at least a patch or workaround. I was so genius to buy the mobile license without verifying that it worked on my device. Hope for a good describing answer. | | | Last edited: by Katana |

| Posted: | | | | Count me in! I also have problerms with my new HTC S710 Smart Phone with Windows Mobile 6.0. I had no such problems with my (HTC) Qtek 9100 with Windows Mobile 5.0. But Windows Mobile 5.0 is soon history. So, will Invelos give us a small "fix" so all the WM 6.0 users can go back in DVD Profiler Mobile business?
Thanks! |

The problem is that it does not have the same input system (touchscreen) as the WM6.0 Prof. This means the interaction with the userinterface has to be redesigned. Programming for .NET Mobile Edition is extremely simple, and I doubt Ken would need any help to get it working with the standard edition. Basically it only requires one thing: Time to do it. Unfortunately time is excactly what is typically the limiting factor for a programmer. So it's not really a question if it is possible or not, it's a question of what wouldn't be done instead. If something is more important (or fun to do), it will be done instead of WM Standard support. | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | Hi everyone!
I just arrived to the forum to ask about porting DVD Profiler Mobile from my old WM2003 device to my new HTC Touch, but it seems to have some pending issues yet. Does anyone have managed to install DVD Profiles Mobile 1 in an HTC Touch?. The Touchflo sw. should only affect in the iddle page and little more, I didn't think it would affect in any way to standard applications...
Regards. |

Tue Gudnitz Denmark DVD Profiler Mobile requires touch-screen support which Windows Mobile 6.0 lacks. You need to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro which has touch-screen support. At least that is what other users with WM 6.0 are saying. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | As long as you are running WM6 Pro (which you should be if you got the tytn) you have touch screen support
However, it may be that WM6 Pro and DVDP Mobile 1 are not yet fully compatible, so hopefully it will be fixed in next release of DVDP Mobile
