Id love to see something like that, would be interesting to see a contribution league with a "all time" and "this month" tables

I agree we don't need a monthly table. An all-time table (much like this one we already have for submitted links) would be nice though.

I don't know if it's technically feasible, but perhaps a count of the number of contributed DVDP fields could largely solve that.

It does seem strange that one can collect stars by bickering in the forum (a better choice of word would be arena), but not for contributions. But this should not trigger a race of insignificant modifications. So accepted contributions only, and then for example for scans, cast/crew, original overview, first contributions, but not just a CoO, MC? But who makes the rules, and who decides? Not another voting system surely!

I agree Dr.  That is frustrating due to the fact that we need to vote several time on one title.  I do try and submitted several changes at once per title. 

It would be interesting to know how may registered users there are.

That seems to be a good idea to prevent people moaning about manipulating results by contributing "too little" at a time.

That whole argument seems daft to me anyway. If I see something wrong I correct it and I don't (and am certainly not going to) feel obligated to do a full audit. 
Cast and crew is something, so far, I mostly steer clear of (too many BY and Credited-as problems for me, at least for the time being). The rest I dó check every time I've already noticed a different error anyway (if it looks at all fishy that is), and I tag this in my local. So most of my contributions will be more than 1 change, but not all.

I'm against any kind of "ranking" system. We have enough arguments as it is. Even just the suggestion of it has caused some people to criticize others (albeit in general). 

But to satisfy the mistrusting and paranoid among us, if there has to be one, I'd vote for Dee1953jay's solution.
