| Posted: | | | | I doubt that after DVDP for Win, DVDPM for Win, iOS and (sometime) Android that Ken (the sole programmer) is tackling yet another fully-fledged version of DVDP.
The mobile versions have the advantage that they are relatively compact and function-reduced (compared to the Desktop version).
You can run DVDP on a Mac either via DualBoot or in a Virtual Machine. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | I see no big sense in doing another version for one specific OS. IF something would really make sense, it is rewriting the whole thing from scratch in an OS-independent cross-platform-language like Java (or maybe another language, I'm no expert). This would ensure usability on Windows, Mac and Unix-based systems. But given the fact how evolved Profiler is, and that only one person is programming it, I won't keep my breath... Maybe for 5.0, but I can't imagine Ken having fun to do all of this again from scratch. So, my vote is "NO". I prefer Ken improving the current version. | | | Last edited: by SpaceFreakMicha |

| Posted: | | | | Such a big product should have more than one programmer. Things are taking so long because Ken is choosing to do everything on his own. |

Maybe there's just enough income to pay a third person (Ken, Gerri & ...) and I doubt a MacOS version would change that. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

It might not be a matter of choice. My guess is that it is a matter of fiscal responsibility. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I'd really like an OSX version. I've only recently switched over to a MacBook, and it's a shame I can't use this beautiful program anymore. |

| Posted: | | | | The Mac App Store is a real opportunity for DVD Profiler to increase its sales. I vote Yes : I didn't bought a Mac to run Windows programs on it ; and to me, DVD Profiler is the only one without real competitors on Mac OS X. | | | Please, be courteous... |

| Posted: | | | | This poll is really going to boil down to Mac users vs PC users. Mac users will vote yes, PC users will most likely vote no or why. |

| Posted: | | | | Why? We have a single programmer to keep up with the PC version and mobile apps. One guy, wjile I can't speak for him, over the years Mac support has been requested many thousands of times, in ten years Mac has NEVER been supported by Intervocative(original) or Invelos. I would guess the chances are slim and none and slim left town. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here
