You know nothing about what has been shown just as I don't know what has been shown. You can read all the FUD you want and spin it how you like, fact is you know nothing about the PS3 version being in bad shape.

Why do I need to factually backup everything I've said? It is public knowledge that the game is for PS3 and Xbox 360, thus it is not going to be PS3 exclusive. It is public knowledge that MS have announced two DLC episodes in an exclusive deal, which MS has paid $50 million for. It is public knowledge that both trailers are from the 360 build, and 1UP, IGN and gamespot have all stated that every build they have got to view has been on 360. No press have seen the PS3 build. I know this because I listen to every 1UP, IGN and Gamespot podcast every week, where they discuss it openly. I'm not going to search up and down through months of news just to educate you, you should know all this already. If you dont, then stay out of conversation on the subject. The reason for the delay was officially announced in Take Two's financial reports as "the game not being ready in time". If you followed gaming you would already know all of this, and wouldn't need "factual backup", as its common knowledge, but your rumour of "the game not fitting on a DVD" points to you being clueless about games too. Good job there's so many of you clueless people about, or Sony would have a hard time selling anything.

The only rumours I've seen are that Rockstar want the game to require the Hard drive, and Microsoft are not happy about excluding 360 core users, and the PS3 development has taken them much longer than anticipated. Both of which are possible.

To be honest my personal guess is that the game wont be polished enough by this fall (on either platform), and the install base across both platforms isn't large enough for the investment Rockstar have made in developing this game. I believe it will be delayed past Q2 08 and onto fall 2008, where it  will be able to reach a much larger install base on PS3 and wont have to compete with Halo 3 for 360 owners cash.

Well, id rather someone state where they hear the facts ike you did in the above posting, then just post it as it is rumor with no factual backup.

As I stated numerous times, I posted a RUMOR that I heard. I even said it was a rumor. In stating that rumor, I was trying to make a point that in less you have facts to back up what you state, you probably should not be stating it.

I listed 4 rumors that are going around. None of them seem to be true. That fact that no one has seen a PS3 build, does not mean there are issues with it, it could mean that, but just because it could, does not make it a fact.

BTW, Amazon has changed the release date of GTA4 from March to May. I expect that date to fall even more.

Personally I am laughing that a game company had to release additional manuals and documentation of how to play a game properly.  Somehow the developers should have a spent a little more money on making the training level a little more helpful!!!  Personally I can't stand games that I need to read a manual to play!!!

The training level is VERY helpful.  The thing is...you actually have to use it.  There are AT LEAST 7 training levels they want you to go through before you play the game.  I wonder how many "quick on the draw" reviewers were like "that's good enough...I just want to play the game"?  Dee-Dee-DEE!
