| Posted: | | | | I think this now goes to the level of feature request for DVDP. To be able to set a page size compatible with a label, and then the report is set up to print one DVD per page.
I will not retract the plugin until the matter is resolved. Thanks for testing. So I hope people will go ahead and request the main program update. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | Of course ... In fact as a workaround you could use a report that is so big, it has one entry per page to achieve that now, you just have to remember only to use the top left corner of the page for the "real" data and leave the rest blank. BTW: I get some distortions when I use landscape: So, enough labels wasted for today | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de | | | Last edited: by SH84 |

| Posted: | | | | Hey mediadogg - I'm almost afraid to ask this, but do you think you could add another two fields for the disc-number and the number of discs? So, if I have a boxset with four discs (and four disc-id's), I can do something like "!Disc of !Disctotal" and get "3 of 4" for the third disc in the set? | | | The future is here. But I really would like to retire this plugin as I stated before. Have you tried using the standard print driver, per the discussion of the last few posts? If so, what works, what doesn't? I remember all your past help - I didn't forget. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! I am working on a couple of nasty frustrating bugs in other plugins, so I am in need of some success to boost my spirits. So I thought I might try something "easy" to start off the New Year. Let me know. Edit: I'll take the non response as a "no." | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | Hello,
I'm sorry but the PlugIn doesn't work anymore. After I choose the label file, the following error appears:
PTouchLabel (c) 2007, 2011, 2013 Der Typeninitialisierer für "PTouchLabel.PTouch" hat eine Ausnahme verursacht.
Translation in English: The type initializer for "PTouchLabel.PTouch" has caused an exception.
I am using the P-touch Editor version 5.1.062.
Please help. | | | Last edited: by Oggy77de |

| Posted: | | | | Software usually does not just stop working on its own. It will be the interaction of the software in its environment. So, could you please summarize all the major things that ave changed since it last worked for you. Think about everything no mater how small ... and tell me about it.
Obvious ones are: operating system, print driver and label editor. Make sure that the print driver and editor are compatible. Also, try using a label that was created with the version of the editor that worked in the past. If you used a different editor in the past, try using that one.
Of course I need to understand anything about the plugin and DVDP installation. Anything changed since the plugin last worked?
Let me know what happens. last time I tried, the plugin worked on Windows 10 with the latest drivers and Editor for the QL-570. I will double check.
I remember some previous discussion about driver incompatibilities in this thread. You might want to scan this thread for any clues.
Have you tried uninstalling the plugin and then re-installing? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

| Posted: | | | | You are right, software does not stop working on its own. But I had to reinstall OS and software because of new hardware. I am trying to run it with Windows 10 (x64) on a Surface Book with P-Touch 2430PC. I installed the latest DVD Profiler 3.9.1 (Build 1657) and PTLabel Plugin V2.1. I tried several versions of P-Touch Editor. At first I installed the latest version (5.1.062). Then I uninstalled all software packages and installed DVD Profiler 3.9.1 again. Then I installed P-Touch Editor V5.0230 from 2012 and your PlugIn. But again, it's not working. Same error. With all P-Touch Editor versions I am able to print the label I created for DVD Profiler. |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, very good info. Let me think on it awhile. Also, anyone else with an idea, please share it. I have at least one machine with Win10/X64. I'll run a test. Obviously if I discover a problem that I can fix, I will do it. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! I will up the priority. I had a couple of personal things to attend to recently. But I promise to make a test ASAP. Apologies for making you wait. BTW can you confirm that you have read this thread as I requested to take advantage of relevant posts such as this one? Seems like I already reported on exactly the test you are asking for? Anyway, I will await your conformation whether that post pertains on your problem or not. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here.
