| Posted: January 5, 2010 5:01 AM | | | | This looks like an alternative which I may use as a stopgap until the iPhone profiler is released (please, please soon) Although scanning 600+ titles with the iphone camera doesn't sound like fun http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/icollect-movies/id346087869?mt=8 |

| Posted: January 6, 2010 11:57 AM | | | | Put this ap on my phone last night and scanned a dozen of my movies. Looks good at the moment despite being quite basic, but certainly meets my needs for now. PS hi, this is my first post but i love the profiler on my PC |

| Posted: January 16, 2010 7:11 PM | | | | It's a interesting app but as I have 600+ titles already in DVD Profiler (and DVDP-mobile) I'm not going to scan them all.
I really do fear that iPhone DVDProfiler won't see the light of day |

I come back and people are still holding their breath and mooning over this phantom iPhone app. That is a lot of time spent (wasted?) that could have been used to further enhance and improve the desktop version. If it ever does get released it better completely revolutionize portable dvd databases because if it doesn't you will have an awful lot of people saying "I waited this long for this?!" Personally I think it's time to sh!t or get off the pot with this iPhone nonsense. Oh, and whatever happened to DPO PLUS? Another carrot dangled in front of our noses.... I really do fear that iPhone DVDProfiler won't see the light of day there is a stopgap available until the proper version arrives http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=426337It's fairly basic but does mean that I can have a list until Ken releases his version | | | Paul |

While I don't know, i would be willing to bet it will. The issue is not the Phone, the issue is internet access and the IPod Touch can access the internet, or my wife's does. So, I would put my money on it.

Plus, with the release of 3.6 and the updated mobile for windows version and STILL NO UPDATE I think I've lost hope. That's not very good customer service, leaving us in the dark for so long. |

It is what it is. Accept it or move along. Many others have voiced similar comments and it changes nothing. Ken will let us know more when he does. Good customer service or not, those are the facts. I'm as eager as anyone else for more information. All I can say is that it's always worth the wait and Ken hasn't let me down yet. Might not be kept in the loop as much as we'd like, but in the end it's worth it. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |
