You may have said that more transparency was needed, but Ken never said he was going to grant that request.  As I understand it, you can discuss moderation procedures in general terms, you just can't comment on specific moderator actions.  As Ken has stated, that is between them and the user being moderated.

As to your 'racial slur', I must have missed that post but it is possible that they didn't see it the same way you did.

But my post was not about the moderation of someone's post, it was questioning why further action had not been taken against someone who had clearly been violating the forum rules for a week.

I was questioning why this person was still being allowed to post here with so many moderation edits in such a short time.

This is still questioning moderator action against a specific person, so I understand why it was "moderated".

Of course entire nations haven't. Show me a single nation where everyone reads these forums. The numbers shouldn't matter.

Part of the Forum Rules state (bold by me) -

By leaving the posts there, there's effectively no point in having forum rules.

You can pretty much guarantee though that if some of the comments I've seen were aimed towards the US they'd be removed PDQ.

That's your right.  I can't get too worried about things that grown adults shouldn't take seriously, but I'm in favor of everyone being civil and us not straying into religious/political territory here.

My personal view on moderation is that people who manage to get three or four posts edited in a day's time need to be banned for a week to think things over.
