| Posted: | | | | A similar problem I have with purchase date comes with child profiles for TV series. I find myself frequently adding child profiles some time after I've added the parent. When I add the child profiles, the Profiler wants to show the purchase date as Today when what I want to show is when I got the parent. As it is now, I have to replace as many as 6 dates, depending on the number of child profiles for the particular parent.
As for the original question, I voted YES. If the purchase date automatically inherited TODAY's date, at least it would be closer to when I purchased it than when I entered it into my wish list. Some of the profiles I want have been on my wishlist for years. [sigh] | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. | Posted: | | | | No, since I use the "ordered" section to edit my profiles: If a profile needs to be completed/corrected/checked in any way, I move it to the ordered section until the revision is done...

Regards, AA You could do this with a tag - then could filter on the tag to get those profiles that need to be fixed. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges. DVD Profiler user since June 15, 2001 |

| Posted: | | | | Like i said, the problem with this request is that it would automatically change existing personal data in the profile whether the user wants it changed or not, which means after a profile has been moved, the date would have to be changed back if people don't want the date changed. That's a bad thing because it means creating extra work for a field where nothing should have changed.
If this were added as an option that would need to be turned on in preferences, it wouldn't be an issue. But to make it automatic with no way to avoid would be a very bad thing. |

You don't know my weaker self - If I'd have to set up a filter, I'd never find the work... AA | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |
