Sure it matters. In my case, not so much for the size. For me I see the benefit in getting better scans for a box set for example, and not having to copy those better images to all the children profiles. I think that would be a big benefit. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

Perhaps a check box that says use the parent scan. Yeah I like that idea too, I'm about to embark on putting my phpdvdprofiler page online and every bit of disk space that can be saved, matters! | | | "What a pathetic excuse for a DVD collection" |

I think most will know, but perhaps there are a few users, it might be a help: For the copy and paste of the cover art you don't need to go into the edit dialogue. It also works directly with a right click on the cover window. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | I am not worried about the space, I have about 3T, but it's the time to load the DVD Profiler or any operation that (at times) adds a new profile to the profiler from disc ID or the online db..
I've tried a number ways and programs to defrag the disc, Program Alignment (System Mechanic) seems to work the best. I got a new one (O&O Pro.) that I can specify areas of the disc place catalogs, files together in a separate area. I re-indexed that helped a little, to many things in it that is not there any more. Got rid of all the fancy Microsoft's visuals. That also helped a lot. Jacked with swap space, but didn't change much. And I move any down loads (all sorted out by supplier) or documents off to external drives.
To load the DVD Profiler was taking about 3 minutes to load. And if I added a profile by disc ID the same at times. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. It also works directly with a right click on the cover window. Or even easier, to copy back and front simultaniously. Right click the Title itself --> Copy --> Paste Cover Images |
