You got that right! Did anyone read the bull they posted about Universal? Quote: Universal's position is a little more perilous, on the other hand, as they're more than two years behind all the other major studios in terms of Blu-ray development. Word is their HD-DVD video encodes can't simply all be ported over to Blu-ray, as some of them "aren't good enough." So some of the digital film masters have to be re-encoded, which is a lot of work. Sources are telling us that one of the things Universal is hoping to negotiate with the BDA is help doing just that. Nevertheless, expect Universal to have at least announced a decision to support Blu-ray going forward, likely in addition to HD-DVD, by the end of the year. Oh yeah sure, because all those Blu Ray 25GB Mpeg2 releases over the past 2 years are SOOOO good are they? That site is a sorry excuse for journalism with their "word is" and "sources are telling us" nonsense. |

That site is a sorry excuse for journalism with their "word is" and "sources are telling us" nonsense. A lto of those would fly today and keep in mind That The Fifth Element was reissued for being subpar, and Bill Hunt was a big part of bringing the pressure. He's not talking abotu King Kong. He's talking abotu The Last Starfighter and lots of Universals other slapdash catalog titles. |

Not saying they don't report real news, but they fully disclose that it is an editorial, and frankly there is no differance between that and what you see on any news station these days... the 24 hour news networks are notorious for "people are saying" and "sources tell us" | | | -JoN | | | Last edited: by ruineddaydreams |
