Quote: There are shows like Buffy, which change the opening credits, if an actor isn’t a regular anymore. After that, they are credited as “special guest star” or “special appearance”. Even in Buffy not every regular cast mentioned in the credits appears in every episode. Yes I know. Xander is only in 143 of 144 episodes. Other examples for Buffy? |

Yes I know. Xander is only in 143 of 144 episodes. Other examples for Buffy? Cordelia, first season. I think, Anya, too. According to IMDb (handle with care): Cordelia: 1.05 The Pack 1.08 I, Robot... You, Jane Oz: 3.15 Consequences Xander: 7.07 Conversations With Dead People Anya: 6.17 Normal Again 7.04 Help 7.07 Conversations With Dead People 7.18 Dirty Girls Angel: 2.04 Inca Mummy Girl Spike: 5.16 The Body | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

The same happens in Ally McBeal. For instance, Peter MacNicol (John Cage of Cage & Fish), a "staple" of the series, so to speak, is only credited that way in season 5, if I remember correctly. | | | -- Enry |
