I am trying to add this info for Back to the Future box set. I was able to get the disk ID for the 1st movie, but not the Bonus Materials ID. And for some reason my DVD drive will not read the second disk. With the disk ID for the 1st disk, I don't see the link for Check for Child Profiles. And Ctrl + F12 did nothing. Would be nice if this was a little simpler to do. This may sound like a dumb question, but are you possibly starting with the ALL tab instead of the OWNED, WISHLIST, or ORDERED tab? The "Check for Child Profiles" feature doesn't work from the ALL tab. Skip Lucky you. I have had the set on my profile as of 7/14/2006. There is 3 UPC codes for this box set... No info for my set. |

| Posted: | | | | If you don't see it in the top "Online" Menu you can customize your right-click menu to have options you want by doing the following: ** Right-click on any of your profiles to bring up your menu, the very last or at least near the bottom of the list you should see " Customize this Menu..." **Click on that to bring up your Customization window. Select " Online" from the options on the left side of this window. This will bring up all the available options under the "Online" tab to be shown in the right side. Simply Drag the option you want (in this case " Check for Child Profiles..." over to the menu you are customizing and drop it where you want it in the list. **The window tends to shrink down to only the header being viewable so when you're dragging your new option over just hover over the header and the rest of the window will pop up so you can select where you want it. This can be applied to many other options as well including your "Change UPC..." as well. Alternately you can do the same by right clicking on the same line that "File", "Collection", "DVD", etc. are on and select "Customize..." here as well. Allowing you to add or delete any options you may want or not want in your drop down menus. Hope that helps. | | | "The perfect is the enemy of the good." - Voltaire | | | Last edited: by Vittra |

Ya I know, it's not there. Are you sure you have the latest version then? If you do, it has to be there. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Maybe the menu options are attached to layout designs or something. The reason I knew how to customize them as I described in my previous post, was actually due to it missing. I just right-clicked on the top menu bar and added it back. Seems odd yes, but what he's experiencing has happened to me as well. @Romzarah: Did you try what I suggested? | | | "The perfect is the enemy of the good." - Voltaire | | | Last edited: by Vittra |

Yes, and I now have it on the button bar. I ran it on the BTTF box set and Bourne set, but I don't see any changes to the profiles. I'm not sure what this is feature is for. Thanks any way though. Oh, it did say it was downloading stuff not in my profile, and for a flash of a second I could see cast and crew info, then gone. |

Hmm, well if it downloaded correctly, you should have a little + sign on the profile. Either to the left of the title in List View or on the Top Left hand corner in Thumbnail view. Clicking on that will expand your box set to include the child profiles. If it's not doing that then you might have something wrong with your database but I have no idea. If you give me the upc's of the titles you're trying to get the child profiles for I can add them to my database and see if they download correctly and actually have child profiles. Worst case scenario is that they just haven't been added yet and you'd have to add them yourself. But the two titles you mentioned are pretty big name titles so there's probably another locality that you can clone. You can find information on cloning titles HERE. | | | "The perfect is the enemy of the good." - Voltaire |

It might have been helpful if we had known where you are from. I have been scratching my head trying to figure out your difficulty knowing that Original release of BTTF as a Boxset 025192-212123 is available Online as properly populated Region 1 US Profiles, for both boxset and children. You have it sorted out now and that is good.

Skip I'm in the U.S. The UPC for the set I have is 025192-212123. With the help I got here with the Check for Child Profiles, I was able to download them and now can view the info for each movie. Thanks again to all of you for your help. I looked through all my profiles and see a few that no child profiles have been made yet. I will have to learn how to do that. Makes box set nice to have. |
