I had problems to save 3.5 files from my main computer to my 3.5 laptop database. I could not use backup files, and had to copy all the dvdprofiler directory. Now, I save without problem 3.6 backup files from my main computer to my 3.6 laptop database. So with 3.6, I can maintain two identical databases on my two computers, thing I could not do easily anymore with 3.5. I think that a bug in 3.5 caused corrupted data in 3.5 database, that has been corrected with 3.6. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

Things do move slowly here. And if you look back at the history of the company, things have always moved slow. And generally speaking, when new releases do come, they're fantastic.
I don't understand the panic. I don't panic if I don't get a new version of Windows every other month. I don't panic is Office doesn't get a new release each month. Most of the software on my machine doesn't get frequent updates.
I'm very excited for the next version. I'm very excited for the new iPhone app. The wait is tough, but they'll arrive eventually. And when they do, they'll most likely be fantastic. And we'll most likely be using those same versions for the next year or so and answering more threads like this about if the company is dead. I panic when my software needs weekly updates... | | | Hans |

Quote: It seems a little bit like a "one-man-show" to me, at least it would explain the way you say it works... There´s definitely room for improvement here... Perhaps you would prefer a more traditional application, one for which you must pay for each new version? --------------- Hello scotthm No Problem, sure i would pay for it. For every major release, lets say, as you have by Antivirus-SW. But thats not the point here. It´s a hell of a software, surely worth the bucks, even at higher prices. All it takes is a post like the one from Ken before, once in a while. That all I was asking for. See Mark, I don´t take myself that important, but don't blame me for asking. This wasn´t a "call to arms". By the way it wasn´t me either who got the answer from Ken, nor was it me who was asking about the "constitution of the company". But even if it not changes a little, there´s the right to ask. At least where I live. | | | Last edited: by El Principal |

To the op: Version 3.6 is in beta; see the beta forum for details. A new beta build will be out early next week and will be posted on the download page. Whoops! Missed that one! | | | Hal |

Whoops!
Missed that one! Heh - that was posted last wednesday. In my book, "early next week" is no later than tuesday, which is now two days ago... I wish Ken would at least take that 30 seconds to post a "sorry guys, there's a problem" when things like that happens. | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. | Posted: | | | | Hi everybody, I´m surprised, that Ken posted a hint on "Desktop-Profiler Beta 3.6" in this forum about "Mobile Profiler".
But back to the intruding question, related only to "Mobile Profiler" I´m interested if there is any chance of an update (no upgrade!!) to let "Mobile Profiler" work on more types of screen-resolutions.
Since Novemder 2008, when Version 1.2 has been released, a lot of postings have been made, where customers tryed to get informations about the schedule of new releases, which could make the bought softwareproduct running.
I was unable to run the software on my PDA with square resolution and I´m tired to seek for any new information about this. I think, Ken could save a lot of time and server-resources if he would make some announcements about the state of software development. Isn´t it boring to read all the time the same questions instead one clear announcment!? | | | Licence for DVD Profiler 3.5 (Desktop DVD Profiler mobile 1.2 (Samsung i780) |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Dr. Killpatient, thank you so much for your information, which is more than an rumour! ... if vou accept the information from year 2008 about the features of "Mobile "Profiler" on the official website as serious (at the and of the page): "Support for standard (240x320), and VGA (480x640) devices is built-in, with more on the way. "
But I expect an announcement of the date of the appearence of the new Software-Version as an official announcement e.g. "Invelos Forums->General: Announcements-> Mobile Profiler", even if it would be long timeperiod of several month´. If a delay occurs, which is quite normal in software developping, it is easy to update the announcement(s). By this, a lot of pepole will save a huge amount of (vasted) time, searching for new (inaccurate and/or redundant) informations which are hidden in a lot of posts and which are at least not so helpfully.
Hi Ken, please tell us the about timeperiod of the new release of "Mobile Profiler"! Thank you! (In the name of multiple users) | | | Licence for DVD Profiler 3.5 (Desktop DVD Profiler mobile 1.2 (Samsung i780) |
