When I started working with the released version I almost immediately stumbled across a serious bug that hits when an expected date or double value is invalid (mostly just blank) and you try to display it.

So now we have version 1.0.1.

Oops! My bad. I missed updating the version number inside the program. It actually is 1.0.1. But it's fixed now, so if you download it again you won't get the update message.

Yeah, well, the downside is that I now find so much info that is missing in my collection that I'm spending as much time updating it as I spent developing the program. I should learn to keep well alone

Ok, a little background to the latest update.

Initially I thought that it wouldn't matter if I didn't preserve the selection criteria between program runs. I thought one would not be searching for the same thing over again. But then I realized that sometimes I worked a long time with something and I shut down the program, then opened it at a later time, opening the same input file and adding the same selection criteria as before.

So I decided that I should treat selection criteria the same way I treat presentation criteria. Thus the program now saves the selection criteria on exit and restore them on next startup. It also automatically opens the same xml file that worked on last time. However, if you don't want that behavior, you can disable it in the settings.

This also helps me avoid a "mistake" that I seem to do a lot. When you open the xml file, it loads in the background, so you can go on and modify the criteria while it loads. It doesn't take very long to load, but it annoys me when I forget to do it, so when I have set up the criteria I will have to open the xml file. The whole open dialog and file loading only takes maybe 10 seconds for me, but it's still annoying.

So, those are the new features in version 1.1.0.

I just had a bit of an Eureka! moment.

When I got a whole bunch of hits I thought "What a pity that I can't flag all those hits in DVD Profiler."

That's when it dawned on me - when you save a flag set in profiler, it's just a list of UPCs.
So if you only have ID (UPC/EAN/Disk id/Man. id) in your presentation list, and then save the result as whatever.lst in Profiler's flag folder (in Win 7 normally C:\Users\[username]\Documents\DVD Profiler\Flags) then you can load it as a saved flag set!
How's that for integration, huh?

Another testament to Ken's flexible designs. I've pointed out this tip to a number of users over the years. I wonder if it is in the Tips and Hints sections of Support and the Wiki?

Also, FYI the very same list format can be used to in the DVD "Add Multiple" dialogue.

Case Type equal to Digipack should be Digipak. Workaround with contains possible.

And I can't seem to find a search criteria for Slip Cover (ticked box).

When I enter Review greater then (for example) 4, it just results in movies that I graded 4 or lower. The same output is generated when I search for 5s.

EDIT: The whole Review Movie settings seem to be mixed up in some sort or another.
