It varies a lot depending on if I have purchased anything. I don't bother with popular titles, but if it's an older film that no one has profiled I may spend a couple of hours profiling it completely.

It varies.... some weeks I barely do anything... other weeks it seems non-stop.

a) the view count is increased with each and every html download. This means it is much higher than the number of users who watched it. I myself watched it several times (after every update) and didn't vote, since
b) you did not provide an option for 5+

Thanks Austria .. you're right  it wasn't worded very well...

I was wanting to edit this poll after I posted it .., but found I couldn't edit the poll  only my comments ...

Maybe we'' redo this again one day....  It was meant to be an interesting poll/ subject  as I find myself constantly looking over my own  list.. and finding areas of 'concern'  and  updating ..

That is fairly typical for any poll, and the percentage will decrease more over time. Remember, along with non-voters and guests, many views are the same people coming back to read new comments.

As for me, these days I have gone weeks without opening Profiler at all. Most of my new movies/TV shows are downloads instead of DVDs these days since companies have begun bare-boning DVD releases and putting all extra on the Blu-ray release only.

This is definitely a hobby for me.  I check in on my profiles every Tuesday (new release day in US) and then periodically throughout the week.

In the past I was well over 10 hours a week.  I would sometimes spend more time profiling what I watched then actually watching it.  Granted a lot of that time was waiting on my old scanner (USB 1.1) which could take 10m+ to scan one image.

Now it's maybe an average of 2 hours a week (probably more like 1 to 1.5).  This includes usually once or twice a month now I'll get around to dealing with everything new for the month and I only edit profiles for what and when I feel like.  In the past I would try to update and check everything I watched.

As time goes on I've taken the following attitude:

*) Only update what I feel like
*) Submit what I think is correct and if other don't like just lock local and then withdraw or let the reviewers deal with it.  If it takes more then 1m to clarify it's not worth the effort.
*) Avoid doing any crew for any main steam release profile unless it is empty.
*) Don't get involved in most threads in the contribution discussion forum.

It's cut back on how much time I spend in profiler but I think things work out better.

This poll is not even close to accurate, as anyone who spends more than 4 hours a week can't vote.

Or anyone who spends no time at all, no uploads and no downloads.
