| Posted: | | | | Yes DVD Profiler has to be availaible through the android platform, it is a must. Of the 69.5 million Americans who owned smartphones as of the end of February, 33 percent used Android devices. The growth of Apple's iOS remained stagnant less sell possible here and the other application are loosing ground. I took all this information on http://www.cnn.com/2011/TECH/mobile/04/06/android.developers/index.html?hpt=Sbin the logical conclusion for the next step is to devlope an andoid version for this application I tried "My Movies" bought it only 5$ but it is not as good as DVD Profiler for me it is better than nothing but would prefer DVD profiler. The database of DVDP is more accurate in my point of view if you bought the program you can contribute and that's it no assles here everything is simple wich I cannot say about the other one I mentioned. DVD Profiler android version is a must. I understand that is could be difficult to write the program for the platform android and it could take time but we need to know if the process has been taken in consideration and if it will be done. I don't want an ETA on this just if in the near future we can expect an Andoid version of this wonderful program. | | | Last edited: by robetclo2516 |

| Posted: | | | | Add me to the "me too"s. I already own the mobile version, which I purchased for my Tilt. I finally had to ditch the Tilt, though, and got a new Android phone. The main reason I held off as long as I did was that there was no Android version of Profiler. Desperately, DESPERATELY want an Android version. I actually use DVD Profiler for home AND work, so right now, I've got to carry around two phones, one of which has no service, and has become a DVD cataloger.

| Posted: | | | | I've got a Mororola Droid X, & would love it if I could access my collection without using the browser. For some reason, DVD Profiler Online considers some of my movies "Adult" Funny People, with Adam Sandler is an Adult movie? Since when? Of course, a little explicit sex could only have improved that movie, but still...
I've double purchased DVDs because of this. Please help. |

Is there any usefull information available about DVD Profiler being developed fro Android? | | | Panasonic 58" Plasma HDTV | Panasonic Blu-ray | Sony Reciever | Polk Speakers

Both where announced a long time (years?) before anything was released. Experience also shows Ken wisely do not comment on these things before he has an announcement to make, and even after that you will typically not get any real progress updates. | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | Please count me in as a vote for a DVD Profiler for android app. I have been forced to mess around with My Movies, but am not liking it all that much. We need DVD profiler for Android! |

| Posted: | | | | I am a registered user of DVD Profiler and DVD Profiler Mobile. Even when I own an iPhone I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S. I am not going to purchase a license for the iOS version and it is a bit uncomfortable carrying my old Windows Mobile phone only for having access to my DVD database.
I have been waiting for months for an Andoid version, with no luck. I would really appreciate an official confirmation that an Android version is on progress and, hopefully, an approximate release date.
I have been searching for alternatives but with some reluctancy. Since I am not willing to wait forever, if no official communication appears shortly I will be forced to search for a real alternative.
I do love DVD Profiler, but after all it is only a tool, a way, for a purpouse, not the purpouse itself.

Not even a comment. Had i run my company the same way they do i would be out of business long time ago.. I just love DVD Profiler and have used it well last years.. but Get that DroidApp up and running or i seriously have to find another solution.. | | | Last edited: by Bergstad |

Talking about patience, there is a Spanish saying that could be translated more or less as: "My lord, give me patience, but give it to me right NOW!" We will continue waiting... Best regards |
