| Posted: | | | | Ok....I get why people would want this feature now. Personally I never forget when I've watched something and what I thought of it, so I would never need/use this function. However, if others would get a benefit from it then I'm all for it! |

| Posted: | | | | I am all for it for those that want it... but it is not something I would use. So the possibility to hide tabs you don't want to see is something I would like to see added with it. Just like now I never use the All tab... so it is just sitting there taking up space. I would love to be able to hide the All tab as well as any other tab that could be added. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Just a quick thought on this subject, althought like Pete and Neil it's not something I would use.
How about using a HTML window similar to the epg we currently use, as I do believe you can dock these html windows where ever you like?

I tend to use the ALL tab when I'm downloading updates so that if I want to update a profile after I've downloaded the change it doesn't matter if the change is to a wishlist / ordered or Owned tab. I just have that change as the last applied and I go straight to the profile. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | I would like also have such a button, because, - i sell/give away movies that i don`t like or will not watch a second time - lost the movie loan to someone i forgot, or dvd chrashed) and will not buy again - give movies that i have for any reason twice in different versiosn to someone else. i have now over 550 Movies, and when i made a inventory review (what`s in the DVDProfiler, what `s in the shelf) i have this discs still there, because now i have a loan status for lost or loan to unknow. but that makes more work. It should not be so hard to implement this feature and make it only visible to people who want to use it. Expert or Advanced mode) so, what`s the answer from Ken for this Request? |

| Posted: | | | | I'd be happy with this. I currently dump sold/traded/gifted items into my "ordered" tab, which makes for a peculiar tab, to say the least, as my *actual* ordered titles are in there anyway. if the program could intrinsically avoid that fudge for me, I'd be quite happy. |

Same here. Been hoping for this for a few years now. Fingers crossed that within a few more... |

| Posted: | | | | As I said before, this is not the right solution. What we really need are (unlimited) custom tabs. Everyone needs something else or wants a different name for it. That's the only way to go. I could need an additional tab too, for DVDs I watched through rental. | | | - Jan |

I'ld have exactly the same reasons. I'm still hunting down some DVDs I loaned (with no record) and for know they are in my Wishlist but it isn't that convenient. |

| Posted: | | | | Why not "Previously-Owned"? It would include sold, lost, destroyed, given-away, discarded, regifted, permanently-loaned or stolen DVDs. Of course someone's suggestion of customizable tab names makes the most sense. | | | Last edited: by Doombear |

We also could use 'events' to go with this: "sold", "lost", etc. pdf | | | Paul Francis San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA |

Everyone needs something else or wants a different name for it. That's the only way to go. I could need an additional tab too, for DVDs I watched through rental. What must be considered on a feature such as this: - What triggers membership in the collection? (i.e, how do you know what is "sold"?) - How often / when are the collections updated? This was what I struggled with for MyTabs, and was what ultimately made it slow and hard to use. I tried to create flexible filters as selection criteria for what appears in the tabs. And as soon as you got more than a couple of tabs, the refresh starts to killl you. I agree that the only one that can solve this is Ken, since he has lightening fast database access and the ability to apply filters to any collection tab. If we don't get the real thing, I have considered two possble ways to make a plugin-style thing that is fast enough: - "Tag" tabs. Simple and fast. Each tab is associated with a Tag. Display all the profiles that have that tag. - Saved filter tabs. Each tab has a saved filter associated with it. This was my original idea for MyTabs, but (a) I didn't know how to do it, and (b) people were asking for selection criteria that are not in the filters today (e.g. display all profiles between two run times). Since then, I have figured out how to improve on it, but I never really got much feedback on MyTabs, so I haven't been motivated to rewrite it. I just wanted to ponit out some of the issues that you might not have considered. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!!
