For Movie Boxsets, I number the children and leave the parent blank.
For TV Boxsets, I number the parents and leave the children blank.
This is how I handle it as well. Ditto, here. There are MANY different approaches to Collection numbering. Some people wiill, for example assign numbers to their stoage locations, then maybe shelf, then title. Thus 116, would be Location 1, shelf one, title 6 on the shelf. It's up to each user to define his usage. I don't know what alpha characters would bring, but OK. I will never be any good on changer information as I will never buy any kind of changer, I would need TOO many of them, and it seems to me also that for a changer to be really useful with the Program we would need to be able to track Bonus Discs as well, which we currently don't do...but maybe someday. We just need to be able to more accurately define disc contents beyond our current generic descriptors. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | I think this has been requested before but i would like the ability to lock collection numbers this way you can give your Film and TV Box Set's whatever numbers you like and they cannot be accidentally changed. |
