| Posted: | | | | Exactly, I'm sure that any user who change the name of the field using a translation trick understand that he/she can't contribute those anymore. It's just a good way to adapt DVDP to our need untill Ken decide to make a change. |

| Posted: | | | | If you Google->DVD+Nigerian you get a bunch of references.
The first iis Amazon: Movies & TV -> Nigerian dvds results ts in 3 pages of them. I don't know how Amazon determined they are Nigerian dvds maybe the movies was shot in Nigeria. Many movies re shot in Africa.
But I do have some Iranian films and they are pretty good.
I use tags to track the countries: Parent tags: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, etc.) UK, USA with child tags as required. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Quote: This will be relevant only if Nigerian films start appearing on DVD/Blu-ray in one or more DVDP localities. Completly irrevelent... It isn't important at all if those movies are or aren't on dvd yet. The fact is they will be and it takes only a couple of minute to add this in the program. Bollocks. To quote the old mantra once more: this is DVD Profiler, not Movie Profiler. And since there is exactly ONE Nigerian film in the database right now, it would seem there are more urgent issues that need addressing (name linking, to mention just one). BTW: I'm not opposed to adding Nigeria as such. As soon as DVD releases of Nigerian films start becoming more widespread, I'm all for it. I have been saying for years that in my ideal world, CoO's would be implemented the same way Subtitles already are, i.e. using a checkbox screen. Then we would - finally - be able to properly handle multinational co-productions, too. But alas... | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

Quote: According to the CIA Fact Book Is that some sort of American version of the bible? The World Factbook provides information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues for 266 world entities. This is information which is gather by the U.S. Intelligence communities about out fellow citizens of the world. The majority of the information is provided to us directly from the government of the named country. I started using it in college to write reports and gather information on other countries in my government and language classes. So, yes, it is a bible of sort. |
