When will we see the Android app? Which came out first? Do the math. It's in development, no need to be rude. | | | Kjell |

| Posted: | | | | Just wanted to contribute my 2 cents to the Android cause As a (former) Windows Mobile Developer I am also surprised that Android Development isn't accelerated. If you look at the market share of Android phones nowadays, Invelos is bypassing many potential buyers. Probably they have been gambling on Windows Phone 7, but by now one should know better. My phone, Samsung Galaxy S2, has been selling 3,000,000 devices, compared to Windows Phone 7 devices which only sold 674,000 devices, all brands combined......... Please Invelos, make us, happy customers, even happier with a new addition to the Android Marketplace |

I am happy to have been right a long time ago (too).
I think invelos didn't foresee the trend in time and try, now, to make up for it ...

| Posted: | | | | I sure I mentioned this before, but to mention it one more time.
Not all Android devices use the same version, or even programming code as others. (I experience this when using the same app on my HTC Incredible, and Samsung Galaxy Tablet.) So it may take much longer for Ken to code a DVDProfiler app that works properly. One only needs to see some of the comments left by users about various apps in the Marketplace to see some examples. Not sure how much of a perfectionist Ken will be when he releases a Android version.
Just something to think about, and personally I would rather have it right, than right now.

Only to find that for the same price you also get one of these clever phones. Now that I have it I must say it's a neat toy. | Posted: | | | | You can add me to the list of "buying it the second it's out" people. Just got through importing the Profiler database into Netwalks Movies for Android and I really don't want to go through that import process again. That's an hour of my life I'll never have back again and three programs added to my PC that I will never use again . It would also help if they provided links to their converter page in the FAQ and gave you the correct file name for importing. (Export procedure says zip file should be called "export", import procedure says file should be called "movies" - it should be "movies") |

| Posted: | | | | I really hope they release an Android version of DVD Profiler soon. I have been trying out My Movies as it has an Android application, but half my collection isn't in their database.
Would be nice to have a list of all my movies/boxes on my phone and be able to add new ones. For a minute I was thinking of making a Android app that read my public Online Collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Droid2 and GalaxyTab 10.1. I bought the Windows Mobile version years ago when I had an Omnia but have been waiting for an Android version for a while now. I will buy the Android version as soon as it comes out. At the moment I keep a PDF report of my collection on my devices but that is just for reference and a very lame workaround. I wish I could scan the bar codes with my device's camera and enter new purchases that way. |

| Posted: | | | | I hope I'm wrong, but I think it is unlikely that there will be an Android version DVDP. It saddens me to say this.
This thread is nearly 3 years old and there only has been a hint of an Android version.
I have been a premium user since the fall off 2002.
