| Posted: | | | | Several years ago my geeky girlfriend made me a file that puts a pdf report on my cellphone. And it was a stupid phone not a smart phone. Anybody wishing to have a report (list of titles) on their phone can have it.
1. Go into DVD Profiler 2. Tools – Reports 3. Select the report you want 4. Run Report (Remember under Options to select the middle item which sorts movies by Name) 5. Print Report 6. Save as PDF 7. Save to Desktop – say yes when asked if you want to replace. 8. Plug in phone 9. Choose Mass storage and continue 10. When window pops up, select Open folder to view files 11. Double click on other files 12. Open Windows Explorer 13. Arrange windows so you can see both the phone and Explorer 14. Drag report from Desktop to Folder on phone 15. Say yes to replace 16. Undock phone 17. Unplug phone
This has worked for me when going to the video store for years.
Good Luck! |

That option (a PDF "printer") may or may not be available, depending on your OS and other installed utilities. |

| Posted: | | | | Here's another BIG vote for the #1 smartphone OS = ANDROID. Please make available a DVD Profiler app for the Android phones. Android has now taken over the iOS as the #1 smartphone operating system. What IS the status of an app for Android??? |

using a free utilty to produce PDFs instead of a paper print is common isn't it? Two off the top of my head are PDf995 and cutePDF - I've used both and pdf995 seems to produce smaller pdfs from the same source.. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Well, SpaceFreakMicha, you are right, but that post is dated on 25th April, five months ago. There could have been some update since then. Anyway, do not worry at all, I have just got working Android CLZ after many, many hours fixing the DVDP exported database. According to previous experiences that can only mean that the Android DVDP version is about to be released Regards |

using a free utilty to produce PDFs instead of a paper print is common isn't it? For a user of DVD Profiler? Not as common as "1. Go into DVD Profiler", I guess. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

| Posted: | | | | My final comment on this topic as I've moved on.... I now use my Android app (competitor) for all movie entry. I simply scan the bar code and I'm done. My movies are stored locally on my phone and on the website. I no longer keep any software installed on my computer. Even if an Android app from Invelos was released today I would not be interested. It would take me way too much time to switch back and I no longer have the need to. Thanks to everyone on the forums and all the contributors over the years. I will now put my copy of DVD Profiler on the shelf with my Word Perfect and OS/2 disks. |

| Posted: | | | | Since Android OS is bigger than iOS in many countries it seem strange that I don't hear anything about any Android app that Invelos is working on. You'll loose a lot of users by ignoring all the Android users now. |
