The Rules say to use Screenwriter "for Adapted Screenplays", and that's not the case. This part of the "description" of the field is admittedly confusing the issue. However, the standard practice is any Screenplay credit is entered in DVDP as Screenwriter. The "Writer" credit is reserved for credits of "Writer" or "Written By" only. It means that the same person (or people) wrote both the original story and the screenplay; in some cases, it could be just the screenplay because the "original story" part could be skipped. | | | Hal |

Fair enough, but then change/clarify that Rule. Quote: The "Writer" credit is reserved for credits of "Writer" or "Written By" only. So, if those people wrote just the screenplay because the "original story" part could be skipped (and the film credits says "Screenplay"), are they Writers or Screenwriters for DVDP purposes? | | | -- Enry |

So, if those people wrote just the screenplay because the "original story" part could be skipped (and the film credits says "Screenplay"), are they Writers or Screenwriters for DVDP purposes? As I stated earlier, if they are credited in the movie as Screenplay, then they get a Screenwriter credit. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | I just submitted the contribution with Jeff Imada as as part of the cast list. Be sure to vote if you have this movie and give why they should or should not be listed for the reviewers. |

| Posted: | | | | Looks like everybody who voted NO doesn't own the DVD. Currently 15-0 in favor of YES in the contribution. |

| Posted: | | | | The scanners have voted - Crew members may be included in the cast list regardless of role if they are indeed part of the cast list. For example, a crew member in the middle of cast members is considered part of the cast list.
The Time Machine was approved with 23 YES and 2 NO. |
