| Posted: | | | | I agree with others about the "get child profiles" feature idea.
I also would REALLY love a way to list TV episodes (with original airdates) as well as list shorts (like cartoon collections, Three Stooges, etc. with airdates) |

1. "Right-Click" Copy & Past Mouse Options available in the Name Lookups on the Title, Cast & Crew Filtered Menu 2. A Gallery View by Actor\Crew – currently we only have it by Profile 3. "Go To find\Go to Next" in the Edit Menu for 'Assigned' Cast & Crew, to find a credit quicker\easier when changing the Role 4. Ability to edit 'Personal Data' in a Spreadsheet type window\view |

Also, two new crew positions (I think they might go under the overworked Art department) - Set Designer and Set Decorator. |

| Posted: | | | | An amendment to the Hide updates for locked profiles/images
At the moment this feature only seems to hide the updates in the Refresh Updated Profiles list. It doesn't change the icon in the General Information tab to show that the update is ignored.
I would like to have the update available icon ignore the locked profiles too. |

| Posted: | | | | My wishes:
- splitting up "Trailers" into trailers for the main feature and trailers for different movies - better Audio Track support as has been already mentioned by others (language and format should definitely be separated) - removal of nonsense credits that clutter up the database and that only about two users care about - namely "Make-up", "Visual Effects" and "Sound" (only God knows what has ridden Ken to add the first two categories for the latest release) - support for info about Audio Commentaries
Apart from that, I still hope for a huge change that has been suggested by several users and by me for years: Profiling cast&crew on a movie basis, not on a DVD basis. With the new credit additions it becomes more and more absurd that hundreds of profiles have to be corrected separately with the exact same data. | | | Michael |

Tigi: Your first idea would be handled through better detailing of Features to begin, then we could actually list the Trailers. Your second relative to crew credits, I hate these kind of comments, myfriend, that data may not have value to you or me, but somebody DOES consider it to be valuable, I think it is selfish on our parts to say No. They may be a tad complex and we may have to work out details but... Your comment about Commentaries would also be handled with better detailing of features. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

I, personally, would love for all of the credits for all profiles to be exact with not a single person left out as if I was watching the credits at the end of the movie. Sure it's not going to happen, and that's fine, but why aren't certain crew roles important enough to be included just because you don't care about seeing them? | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

Since version 3.5.x you are able to enter custom crew roles which are admittedlly only kept local but are almost exactly what you wanted. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! The biggest advantage of DVD Profiler over any other local database (Access or whatever) is that you can download most data by entering only the UPC. This is not possible with custom crew. But personally I mostly care for director only and maybe for writing and producer. |

| Posted: | | | | Here's something I would really like :
When I want to change the cover scans of a profile, I go to the "Cover Scans" section of the "Edit Profile" window, then "File - > Open". The I have to navigate thru my folders until I get to my scans.
DVDP remembers the folder for my scans if I stay in the Edit Profil window. But when I want to edit another profile's scans, DVDP does'nt seems to remember the last scan's folder.
It would be great if we could assing DVDP a folder for the scans. | | | Certainty of death... Small chance of success... What are we waiting for ?! |

| Posted: | | | | I'm still hoping for a new kind of divider for group roles. (As mentioned in the 3.5 thread and threads before that too.9 Currently we are mixing apples and oranges and have to resort to empty dividers to end a 'group role' divider. A practice I'm very much against. It's an especially dirty solution when there are group roles on a multi feature disc. How does one see the difference between a group role or episode with the current system? | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |
