Assuming he was referring to the same one I was, it's to do with this thread.

Ah, but that's a situation which is not covered by the rules. The official title consists of two parts (in two languages) separated by a dash. But for the front cover the dash is replaced with a new line and font change. It has nothing to do with the usage of colons in titles as described in the rules (episodes, music shows).

And it is funny to see you accuse me of twisting your words, as I reproach you exactly the same thing. Do you feel as a victim ???

Just another example of why I believe you are purposely misinterpreting my posts in order to be offended.  I simply stated what I rememberd, but left it open for you to correct me if I had it wrong...which I did, and you did.  There was no twisting as I admitted from the get go that I could be wrong.

Anyway, this discussion is pointless.  Believe what you want.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

As long as you believe that, I agree that this discussion is pointless.  Have you just tried to guess why I would have this ridiculous attitude ? But if you prefer to keep in mind your "he wants to be a victim" fantasy... I can do nothing...

...Besides, look at the German users, who have developed their own standards, many of which are contrary to the rules. Clearly, people will try to change things.

Hmm, many contrary to the rules?!
Why can't I remember them?

Btw, for German speaking people there is a very good translation of the rules that was made by a user.

In particular, using dashes instead of colons (which i think shoudl be a locale-specific rule, but that's not how it is at the moment).

This is also the only thing that I can remember we make different, so the word "many" for one difference is a bit disproportionated.  And if it is contrary the rules is depending on the side of view, because we use according the rules for episode descriptors also colons.

And now back to topic: What about having a link and some kind of reminder to the rules when contributing a profile. Somthing next to the notes field in the field with the explanations to the contribution notes.

Actually the German do it the same way as many other people from various localities as the quoted link to that thread shows. At least some Finish and French users spring to my mind who have stated this. We all use the dash which is part of the official localised title even though it has been left out on the cover for graphical reasons (changed into new line and font change).
