| Posted: | | | | Thanks for this nifty tool. After spending about 3 hours going through my headshots directory to find all of the "invalid" jpegs and fixing them it has been running on the laptop for 3 hours and is up to the "Clarks". Before I fixed my headshots, it would crash every little while when it hit a file that windows would not thumbnail. I opened them in my image editing program, re-saved them and all is now good. Thanks Again | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | Doesn't work for me. It always stops after loading the picture in Paint. Can it be because of different program language? (Czech) |

(Czech) That could very well be the case since the usage guide says: Quote: Run DVDProfiler and make sure the display language is set to U.S. English (Tools - Options - System). |

DVD Profiler is set to English, Paint is in Czech and it is not possible to change it because it is a part of Czech windows. |

| Posted: | | | | First of all, thank you very much for your fine utility, Caranthir. Unfortunately, I'm suffering the same problem as trenki. Even if the Italian version of Paint is named "Paint", as the English one, and the DVDProfiler is set to English, HeadsImport stops exactly after loading the first picture in Paint. In the tray, the HeadsImport icon has the "Script Paused" indication flagged. Any hint? Thank you very much. |

| Posted: | | | | I started Saturday morning the 17th and it finally finished Wednesday morning the 21st (with stops for about six errors). Fun little tool.
Kind of off topic: The whole headshot function has turned out to be addictive---I was going through a number of sites harvesting headshots last night and sticking them into the system, and ended up looking at the clock and it was 1 AM. Now I have headshots of Monte Blue and Vola Vale---but I still need a good one for Montague Love and Pete Smith (of the Pete Smith Specialties---too darn many Pete Smiths out there!). | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | I ran it on my collection and downloaded the headshots from DougsDvds sight, there was over 9,000 head shots and it only add 37 to my collection. I ran all the way through with out a problem but will little success. |

It should pick up a lot more than that. |

| Posted: | | | | Just one word : Great thanks Caranthir ! Vielen Dank !
Really useful script.
The one and only "negative" point is that my headshot directory doesn't contain all the actors I need. In fact, I have a lot of french movies in my collection.
I'll try to get some french actors image files.
Or is perhaps someone owning such a french-actors-and-actresses-directory ?
Thanx a lot Caranthir ! |
