| Posted: | | | | In cases where both the old and the new are almost equal in fitting my definition of a headshot, I'm almost always accepting the new contributed headshot. Thus all your efforts put forth to improve the headshot DB does count. I've only just reached the B's and it feels like I've accepted a couple hundred improvements. *phew* |

| Posted: | | | | Holy Moley, you guys are in for a treat. I'm only through 8% of the cast and I've been presented with an incredible number of comparisons with around 95% of them being improvements and half of those vast improvements.
I might have to break this one up into chunks of 5,000 vs v5's 10k chunks. |

| Posted: | | | | I have a suggestion for the sharing of the presumably large db file for v6... How about uploading/sharing it as a torrent...?
I'm not a big fan of the file hosting sites with limited bandwidth and slow downloads unless you have paid for their services. |

| Posted: | | | | I use Mediafire which seems to be less annoying of the annoying. Maybe using bittorrent shortly after the release but it really can't be an on-going thing, it's only useful if there's seeds out there. |

| Posted: | | | | Status: 16% through the cast, currently processed A-JO. A hella lot of comparisons.
I can't recall who but the chap who commented on the low resolution of many of the headshots, you'll be pleased to note that a good sized percentage of the comparisons I'm seeing is replacing a low resolution headshot with a higher resolution headshot.

| Posted: | | | | The compare process gave me a scare after I reached the K's, it decided to cancel the restore. Fortunately, a quick test showed that it picked up just fine when I restarted.
I took that opportunity to go ahead and perform a backup. So far, v6 is 115 MB or 25% larger than v5 is - and I'm still barely into the comparison process. |

| Posted: | | | | I can't seed much as I often need my bandwidth for other online things, like online gaming and webcam ... but if it helps, I can upload the chunks to mirrors on Megaupload, Rapidshare and the likes. That way, if one of the Mediafires is down, users will have an alternative. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

There's many user-contributed links in this thread from many users but your best bet now is to wait until v6 is finished. v6 is a compilation of all the headshot contributions made by users over the past several years. |

| Posted: | | | | Don't give up Doc, and don't forget: In the comparion window the progress is splitted: 1-50% are cast, 51-100% are crew. That means when you're at 16%, you have already 32% of all cast compared, and crew is peanuts. Ratio of cast and crew pics should be around 11:1. |
