| Posted: | | | | This is a complete rewrite of TmdbInfo, with new features. It's a different browsing experience. You can double-click on a row in a search window and open up a new window for that information. And then another and another, going as deep as you wish. Not sure how useful it is, but it also includes a configurable way to copy cast and crew from TMDB into DVD Profiler. Copying cast was fairly straight forward, but crew was a bit trickier. So this also includes a program that maps how TMDB crew entries are converted to Profiler crew entries. This copy features is only available for movies right now. If you find it useful and want want the same copy function for TV shows, let me know. TmdbInfo version 2.0 | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks TrauStaa! Your request certainly carries weight.
Although I don't think that TmdbInfo can come anywhere near the functionality of DJ's CastCrewEdit2, there is one thing that it has in it's favor. IMDb seems intent on making it as difficult as possible to access it's data, which means that CastCrewEdit2 may need frequent updating. TMDb on the other hand makes it easy to access their data through their API. This mean that it's much less likely that TmdbInfo will stop working through any action by TMDb.
Do let me know what you think of TmdbInfo, and what improvements that you'd like to see, more than the TV show copy support. And that goes for anyone else as well, obviously! I love feedback. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

TmdbInfo version 2.0 Hi Gunnar, My favorite one of your plugins is: TmdbTvShowCheck - Similar to TmdbCheck, but for TVshowsYou incorporated many features I requested into the plugin Somehow, years ago after a computer crash and moving DVDProfiler to a different computer I forgot about "TmdbInfo" and instead have been using: TmdbCheck - Similar to CastCrewCheck2, but uses data from The Movie Database. I need to checkout how TmdbInfo version 2.0 works! | | | Last edited: by zappman |

| Posted: | | | | There is an easter egg in TmdbInfo. Well, it's something I forgot to document, anyway. If you double click on the header in the movie, tv show or person window, you will be taken to the IMDb page for that title/name. I'll try to remember to document it for version 2.1 (which will include copying TV show credits to Profiler, among other things). | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Gunnar, it would be very handy and helpful if we could just have the ability to copy (right click with mouse button) the profile picture of actor/actress/crew and paste it into DVDP. Tricky?
It would also be handy to have TmdbInfo windows to permanently stay on top (by checkbox) and remember their size and window position. | | | Last edited: by TraunStaa |

Tricky? Yeah, it would probably be tricky, but I will take a look at it. Quote: It would also be handy to have TmdbInfo windows to permanently stay on top (by checkbox) and remember their size and window position. On top can be done. Size/position for the main window, sure. For the individual child windows? Not sure how to do that as they are dynamically created and there can be any number of them. Anyway, their width is set to fit the content, so it would seem to be counterproductive to change that. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | TmdbInfo 2.3.0- In the Person window, you can now search for a title by pressing Ctrl-F. - In the Person window, you can now sort by more than one column by selecting Custom sorting from the context menu. - When the Movie or Television windows are opened from a Person window, the entry for that person is selected and highlighted in the cast and/or crew listing. - In the Television window, the cast and crew listings have been merged to a common tab, the same as in the Movie window. See the updated help file for further info. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
