| Posted: | | | | Hi, I'm surprised to see people still posting. I thought Invelos was dead apart from being able to use the online collection feature. I don't have any problems using DVDP for the most part and it does everything I need it to do. The most disconcerting thing about it would be the absence of its creator. I've been here and purchased my licence a while ago but I see more people buying licences recently. It must be strange for them to realize that the software is no longer supported.
To the question at hand. I recently acquired new DVDs and my first 4K-UHD after a long time of not having purchased anything. Yes, streaming has changed all that. I have three collections 4K, BD and DVD. In total I have well over a thousand discs but my "All" built in collection clocks in at 993 discs. I use the Boxed Set nesting feature so I guess they aren't included in the count. The actual problem is with the count. If I add up my three collections the count isn't 993 but 985. I can't find out why. Here are the steps I've taken to try and solve the problem:
1. Checked all built in collections other than "All" and "Owned" to make sur they are at zero. I never use them. All my discs are owned.
2. Each individual collection has the automatic add to owned collection checked off.
3. "All" and "Owned" collections have the same count 993.
4. Ran Database Repair Utility three times.
5. Online upload has the same counts.
6. Check all "Owned" collection by scrolling through to see if the general info had a disc format logo of either 4K, BD or DVD. They all have one or two logos. Didn't check nested box set entries. Don't know how they're counted.
This isn't critical just annoying. Does anyone has any ideas of what else I could do to find the glitch. Any feedback or ideas are welcome. If anyone else has the same problem please let me know.
Thanks. Happy movie watching. |

| Posted: | | | | If any profile has the "count as" set to other than 1, this affects the total. Box-sets will count unless you set "count as" to 0 (personalize DVD). | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | First check all "Count As" entries.
Click "Collection" and uncheck "Nest Box Sets". Switch your collection to list-view (Ctrl-F1), right-click on the list, "View Columns" and choose "Count As". Now click on the column header to sort by it and look for any zeroes. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki | | | Last edited: by Mithi |
