| Posted: | | | | Hi,
so I just aquired the Battlestar Galactia (2003) complete box (Germany, 5050582967142)
and there's something weird going on (or rather lazy).
Both season 2 and season 3 have 21 numbered episodes on the disc menu.
Except that both seasons only have 20 episodes each.
Solution: Both seasons contain a regular cut and an extended cut for one episode (Pegasus in season 2, Unfinished Business in season 3).
But that's not made clear anyway, they are not listed as special features and since no episode names are displayed in the menu, you don't even realize it until you actually watch it.
Each episode pair is spread out over two discs, the TV cut on one disc, the extended cut on the next.
Contribution rules do not have anything specific for TV shows, so I assume that the default "multiple versions" rule applies for the season at least. Correct?
But what about the discs? Does the disc containing the TV cut count the TV cut episode or is it left out from the disc running time? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
