| | Posted: | | | | In light of recent "events", I just thought of something that might be useful, so I'm throwing the idea, and let's see what people think of it. Has anyone ever gone to SpikedHumor.com? In the comments section of each video, there is a + and a - sign to rate a comment good or bad. The more + it gets, the bigger and bolder it is, and the more - it gets, it becomes smaller and dimmer or even gets hidden. I don't know how or if this could apply here, but I think it would be interesting to be able to rate/vote down messages that are irrelevent, agressive, offensive, etc. and could help in tracking user habits. It would also become a sort of self moderation by the users that could help spot problematic issues easier by the real moderators. Debate away!  |

| | Posted: | | | | Great idea in principal, but the last time I experienced it those with the "-" votes did not take it and learn, they generally bitched and argued, and so got more "-" and it kind of spiraled down from there.
Combined with good moderation it would be good, but with the current atmosphere I am not so sure. | | | Andy
