| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure I like the way 3.0 combines profiles with images in the database for voting. In the old system you got 2 things to vote for: profile and images. What happens if I agree with the profile but disagree with the images? Should I vote NO even if the profile data is correct just because I want to vote against the images? | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. Unless the image is totally out of whack (crooked, to small or blurred) or if the image is not the original cover, the image doesn't alter my vote. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. What happens if I agree with the profile but disagree with the images? Should I vote NO even if the profile data is correct just because I want to vote against the images? I am like 99.99% positive that it was asked for at one time to be seperate again (I would like it that way), but not sure if Ken is going to do it that way again. I have just locked all my cover images. If a submission have both rpofile and image, I just judge the profile itself and ignore the image unless it is a really bad image. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

| Posted: | | | | Schultzy is correct. It was requested. See HEREKen replied with this (bolding added by me): Quoting Ken Cole: Quote: As to the votes, I'll see what I can do. I'll see if I can split the voting by profile/image, but it will be a little while. This was on the 16th of March. Unfortunately a "little while" in DVDP language is undefinable using current technology |

| Posted: | | | | If a profile is good, but has terrible images, vote yes and enter a note that the images are bad or viceversa. The actual acceptance is 2 processes and I have seen approved profiles/declined images or the reverse. Ken and Gerri do read the notes on votes so if everyone uses that option you can accept a good profile and hopefully keep the bad images out. | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | If the profile is good and the image bad, I would vote No every time. Same if it was the other way round (good image, bad profile). |

| Posted: | | | | Well, SG, you could do that, but in the note you could say that the (pic or profile) is correct. All I'm saying is that Ken and Gerri do read the comments on votes and have accepted one without the other. Your method is perhaps better than a yes vote with comment. | | | Kevin |
