It would really be nice to have a full screen version of the gallery to use as screen saver.

Couldn't you just point the Windows slideshow screensaver at the directory with your cover art?

Yes I could.....however  I don't think windows slideshow screensaver would be smart enough to:

Differentiate between front and back covers to show only front ones.

For someone that might now how to program plug-ins, this seems like it wouldn't be too difficult a thing to do as a plug-in --and a really clever idea as well. Also, there are freeware screensavers out there that will display pictures depending on a number of different arguments such as directories, lists, wildcards, etc. Two good ones that come to mind right off would be gPhotoShow (http://www.gphotoshow.com/) and Picture and Sound Show (http://www.joeltechnologies.com/). Have Fun!

I remember doing this some years ago and can't remember the specific process now. I have Win2000 Pro. Can anyone detail the moves.

I can see in Screen Saver under Display properties the "Photoimpression Screen Saver" choice, but there is no where to get Windows to "point" to my DVDPr Images folder that I can see. I must be missing it somewhere. Help!

That can be done with Picture and Sound Show Screensaver. Just tell him where the directory with all those nice cover-scans is and that he should show *f.jpg

What would be nice is a screensaver to show the cover pictures, but that would also use some light zoom and pan effects on the covers while they are displayed.

Kind of what they do in biographies when they show kids picture of the person.

Or, how MotionPicture does it.

I'm using the content of my pictures folder as a screen saver.
Everytime i saw a great cover, banner, poster, a movie pic or samething related i save to my hard drive.
It's quite nice.

Using the Picture and Sound Show and it's great but as others have said the ability to have the Covers only showing would be optimal.  Is there anyway to set up a restriction with a wild card or something (ex.: %f.jpg)?

I use "IrfanView - Image Viewer", it's free.
Under "File"
Selct: "Slideshow"
Set "Look in:
C:\Documents and Settings\"your name"\My Documents\DVD Profiler\Databases\Default\Images
"File Name": *f.jpg
(*f selects the front cover scans.)
set a file name and hold down the "Shilt" key
slide alonf the list unril you reach the end of the list or what ever.
this will pick the images.
Select "Any"
Select: "Play""

If you like mucking around with Yahoo Widgets, you could create one to read in the exported XML file and display the movie information with cover shots.

It's like Windows Programing in JavaScript.  Hell, that's exactly what it is.
