How can you correct a submited barcode?

Top Gear: The Challenges has the wrong barcode the submitted barcode "5014503 241223" is incorrect it should be "5014503 228422" the submitted cover art has "5014503 228422"

Correct the barcode on the profile using "Change EAN/UPC" then resubmit - it will appear as a new submission, but explain what happened in the contribution notes.
Also ask for the old profile to be deleted.
Although you may need to make sure the title wasn't issued using 2 UPCs.

If it turns out that is has been released with two different UPC's, changes are that one of them will either be a re-releases, which should not be in the database, or it would be from a different locality than the existing one.

Rereleases with different UPCs are allowed in the database, it's only rereleases on the same UPC that we currently ignore.
You're right about the different localities thing though, although is there much of a market for Top Gear DVDs outside the UK?

which version of Profiler are you running, I remember on one of the earlier builds there was a problem with the program selecting a different DVD when you went to change the UPC.
It's also possible that someone has added a "Meet The Fockers" profile onto the UPC you need!
In that case, it's going to complicated to fix!

When I enter your stated second EAN '5014503228422' DVDP tells me that no DVD is assigned to that number and that I should submit details for that DVD. So I can only assume that you have the wrong EAN for 'Meet The Fockers', the online database has three EAN's for Meet The Fockers

WRONG!<buzzer> To be precise you are partially correct, but if you want to remove the old version you had better be able to back it up, it is not at all uunusual in the states for ONE title to be released under at least FOUR different UPC #'s. All I see so far is that the user happened to get a hold of a variant that was not in the database, I see nothing that documents the original listing is errant.

A quick search on the internet finds numerous UK sites listing EAN 5014503 241223 as: Top Gear The Challenges. So the original contribution included incorrect cover scans, not an incorrect EAN.

Grey:

I am not sure I would have it removed on that basis. I don't know how to advise you, but we must be certain before removing. It doesn't sound likely, but it is possible that a dealer got some sort of an exclusive cover, that happens here and sometimes the distributor does not change the UPC. I am not saying not to do anything, I am simply saying be very careful. Perhaps the initial Contributor might be of some assistance, I don't know.
