French/Français German/Deutsch Arabic/???? That won't work for languages that are not in a romanized type of alphabet. You have to have the correct code page loaded in Windows to view languages like Chinese, Cyrillic, Arabic, etc. in their native mode. | | | John

| Posted: | | | | Did not realise it would be that difficult to do it's just when you go into the menu on a DVD the sub's tend to be in the native language and as I'm not multi-lingual it can be a bit of a pain trying to figure out what's what. |

This is a good point. I don't think it should cause a problem for the translation - have the name split in 2 with the main part translatable, and the new bit in the subtitle language title being fixed for all translations. So using the list from the first post: French/Français German/Deutsch Arabic/???? the "French", "German", "Arabic" would change per translation installed, but the other would always remain the same. | | | Andy
