| Posted: | | | | When looking at a contribution before voting, I'd like the differences in names, roles and the overview to be highlighted. Subtle differences are hard to see sometimes, especially in the overview because the columns aren't the same width in the web page and the wrapping is not the same. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |

| Posted: | | | | That would be useful. Most of the time it seems to take a minute or so just to see some of the alterations in Overviews and such when voting, and sometimes you just can't see it...like "spacing" alterations. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I agree. I dread having to vote on a "Fixed small typo in overview" contribution especially when the overview is over 3 paragraphs long . I just cross my fingers, close my eyes and click "yes" . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

It would be tough to implement here however, without tweaks implemented in the program itself. | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |

Often if the typo is not explained in the notes and if I can not verify it I will vote neutral. I know you were kidding, I was just afraid some Newbie Snack might get the wrong idea. | | | Brian |

| Posted: | | | | Touti, what a great idea! I hope everyone agrees, is easy to do, and "the powers that be" give it 2 thumbs up! Boy, you're so creative you should think about developing a web site! |

| Posted: | | | | I'd very much like the idea of marking differences in overviews. IMO the mark-up for cast and crew is already good enough. |

Not Always Rho, I voted on a contribution recently and it too me a while to find that the only difference was 1 uppercase/lowercase character. They're usually easy but sometimes they're not. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W | | | Last edited: by Touti |

| Posted: | | | | I obviously can't do anything about the voting page, but I'm currently working on a plugin that does this for the profile changes preview when accepting/rejecting updates from the Online DB. See this thread.I'm not sure when I'm able to finish a release version (life keeps getting in the way), but if some of you guys are interested, I can put up an early beta within the next few days. So, if anyone, who ideally has some own programming experience, or at least a good understanding of DVDProfiler's functionality, is willing to spend some time as beta tester and provide detailed feedback on bugs and problems, please let me know. | | | Matthias |

| Posted: | | | | Excellent idea! I hate having to compare long overviews to see what the differences are. |
