| | Posted: | | | | As this program is used for films from all over the world, the search functions need to be changed to match letters with and without diacriticals. In other words a search for "Jose" should match both "Jose" and "José". This is something that is needed most for cast and crew, but would also be useful for title searches.
As the use of the 'common name'/'credited as' feature is used more and more, this becomes more important for proper data entry of films using names that contain diacriticals.
