| Posted: | | | | Would it be possible to have a separate option for the Edition Format for the Collection List and the dvd's General Info ? I would prefer to have a shorter name withouth Edition in the Collection List but keep the full name including the Edition in the General Info of the dvd.
I'm especially asking this for the online collection as the Collection List get's rather messy with these long titles.
Or, if this isn't possible, can the online list be changed so the Collection List uses elipsis (...) for long titles with a tooltip showing the complete title ?
Thanks in advance. |

| Posted: | | | | I like the idea of not having the edition display in the collection list but still having it show in the general info window - that would make the list look a lot tidier I think. |

| Posted: | | | | I like the idea. The title list on the left looks cluttered, when displaying Title, Original Title and Edition...
But Original Title should be displayed in the General section more prominently anyway, regardless of the display setting, which would leave us with separate settings for Title and Edition. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | No it can't Skip. If you switch it off in display options, it vanishes from both windows. Hagar's suggesting that they can be switched on or off separately. |

| Posted: | | | | Huh? North, I think we are are talking at crossed purposes here. The Edition field is fully editable. So, however it comes down the pipe from the Online you are free to change it in anyway you wish. If you don't like Widescreen Collection that is Online, you can make it Widescreen in your local, if you wish. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | No, you still don't get it. If you want the edition and the original title to display in the general info window, you also have to have them displayed in the collection list. Hagar wants the option for them not to show in the collection list, but for them to still be displayed in the general info window. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |
