| Posted: | | | | This is something I would like to see in DVD Profiler. I for example didn't realize there had been an update until all those Slip Cover updates started pouring in. |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, nice idea - a lot of programs have a checkbox saying "check for new version on start-up". It would be handy if Profiler had one too. |

| Posted: | | | | There is a way... but you have to manually check for it... go to Online--> Check for Program Updates | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I'd like that, but one step further. Have the program update itself automatically.
In this day and age, especially with DVD Profiler having such a big online component, I think it should update itself automatically. |

| Posted: | | | | I would worry if the program updated itself. I alway make an extra backup of my database before updating. There have been some instances in the past where the update did not play nice with the database info.

| Posted: | | | | I'd like to see an automatic version ping with a pop-up displayed when a new version is available. The exception would be if the new version is a beta - no pop-up displayed unless you are also running a beta. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

Bobb It would still require the user to accept the user. But if it eliminated the steps of going online, downloading the zip, unzipping, and executing the setup.exe file, it would be that much more time to play with DVD Profiler |
