| Posted: | | | | Yeah I tried that but I have a few too many gripes about it...
At first I was thinking great it can just access the xml files and would be easy to update, but then I realiized that you would have to import it every time, and I wouldn't want to give up dvd profiler, it has far more uses than the dumbed down mymovies interface.
The other problem I have, is that it can't import my database. I tried tons of different settings, and it always errors out, and stops the import... then has to start over if I try again. Not worth my time... 1000+ movies importing into my movies takes a LOONG TIME, even longer if it errors out before it gets 30 entries, and you have to start over.
The last gripe I had about mymovies is the MC gui, is really bad... its slow, the scroll arrows on the pages are hidden by the MC tools at the bottom, and it doesn't support the scroll wheel and keeps getting stuck on selections.
Has to be a better way. | | | _________________________________________________________________________ "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentation of the women!" |
