| Posted: | | | | I don't own a Tivo, but I think this would be better off as a plugin. There's no reason to burden the main program or the developer (Ken) with this task when interfacing with other devices is what plugin SDKs are for. | | | Last edited: by nolesrule |

| Posted: | | | | It's called an HME application and yes, it can be done provided the XML is parsed correctly.
I own a Series 3 and I would love to see my DVD collection on my Tivo.
Better yet, code it into the online database here and this way all that has to be done is to put in the Invelos IP address into the Tivo where the application is being hosted.
If done correctly, nothing need be done in regards to a plug-in for DVD profiler except in cases where there are privately added user titles. | | | Last edited: by McDuff_on_the_Mound |

| Posted: | | | | Aren't there still issues with DVDP's implementation of XML, though? Or have those all been resolved? | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | My opinion: - it can be achieved by writing a plugin - Tivo support would only benefit a small fraction of users, because Tivos are currently only avaiable in the United States |

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Tivo seems to be avaiable in some other markets, however I think it's still a small fraction of users that benefit from such a feature and there are many other requests that would benefit much more users and would improve the quality of the database ("Created by" field for TV series, HD features, ...). |
