One thing that was always missing from DVD Profiler was the ability to see your list of movies while you are at your player. Since both the XBox 360 and the PS3 can do see streaming videos off your own network, if there was a way to get what is in the DB on DVD Profiler into a streaming video, you could look at it from the player. I would probably never use my DVD player anymore after that.

I guess since there is an XML output I could write this myself but it should be in the product so that everyone could take advantage of it.

For the PS3, a recent thread brought up taking the XML export and creating a RSS that is compatible with the PS3/PSP.  Haven't heard of the 360 supporting that though.

At least two ways to do it:

(1) Use HTML section to format a url that calls your streaming software (see Layouts Forum).

(2) Use LoadDVD plugin to retrieve the DVD from your library (changer or HDD) and call your streaming software (Nero, VLC, RSS, whatever).

The more I explore DVDPro, the more I find that there are multiple ways to do just about anything.

Keep us posted on your progress!
