| Posted: | | | | I think it would be helpful if when you refresh updated profiles from invelos it showed how you voted.
I currently preview all changes in case there are things in the profile that don't jive with how i like to see it locally. Sometimes, its in the rules and its still a yes vote, but it could be a neutral vote. Or i could vote no on an image that gets approved but I like the current better.
If I knew how i voted it would make comparing quicker because I already compared when I voted and could then just accept all/none/partial based on that info. Additionally giving the ability to comment on a neutral vote would make this more useful as you could then see your comments.
And I know people will say to just lock the profile after I vote, but I'm not always at the computer with DVD profiler on it to do so and don't remember next time I am. Also, just because I don't like an image when compared to the current, for example, doesn't mean I don't want to ever update it.

| Posted: | | | | IMO, the voting and the update process should remain separated. Showing the vote is not really helpful when accepting/rejecting an update, because:
The changes you voted on and the actual update may differ, because the update can combine changes from multiple contributions.
Your vote is currently bound by the Contribution Rules. So while you vote Yes on a Contribution that follows the rules, you might still want to reject the update (or parts of it), because you handle things differently in your local database.
The vote is cast on one contribution in its entity, the update process allows you to process partial changes. | | | Matthias |

| Posted: | | | | I'd have to agree with goodguy here.
Another reason being that whilst you may have voted NO on a contribution, in case it got through anyway it may still contain elements you're happy with. |
