| | Posted: | | | | I disgreee. It needs to be listed on Blu-Ray for player compatibility reasons, which aren't an issue for HD DVD. There are ways to do picure-in-picture that do work with old players (such as burning it in), so generic PPiP labeling won't be adequate. |

Those are not features but player/disc profiles (more or less advanced versions of Blu-ray discs that have legacy support for players that only support the initial interim profile). | | Posted: | | | | It's far more useful to know that a disc is profile 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0 (or whatever names you wish to use). Knowing that a movie has picture-in-picture doesn't tell you if your player will play the disc or not.
