| Posted: | | | | Agreed. As long as this is not in place, couldn't you use a workaround by editing your contribution notes (e.g. replacing the original contribution notes by the text "Withdrawn"), and then withdrawing the contribution itself? | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

Does that actually delete the original note? Isn't the updated text added to the original text? | | | -- Enry | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

| Posted: | | | | It is part of the record for that title and as such should remain. It does serve a useful purpose to have those notes, even IF withdrawn.

I have seen cases where the same contributor tried to contribute the same garbage several times maybe hoping that one day the voters and screeners would not react. I want those cases documented. |

| Posted: | | | | But even for withdrawn contributions? I can understand the logic for keeping the notes of declined submissions, but not when the submission was never actually completed. How about as a compromise, a time limit: any contribution withdrawn within 24 hours is erased completely. |

In the cases, which I have talked about, the contributor withdraws his contribution as soon as he sees to much no votes and contributes again later. |

| Posted: | | | | Exactly... I have seen it many times too. It helps to keep the complete record for future reference. Sure we will get some that will be withdrawn and that be the end of it... but as much as I seen people withdraw... try again... withdraw again... try again... as many times as they feel it will take. It is good to see this recorded... and see who is doing it. | | | Pete |
