All 32-bit applications which use DiscIDs will retrieve the correct DiscID, even if AnyDVD is running (e.g., Windows MCE 2005, Windows Media Player, Invelos DVD Profiler, MyMovies, etc.) Note: This feature might not work correctly with X-Protect or other heavily corrupted discs. Blame the manufacturer of the disc.... This feature is currently only supported for 32-bit applications.
Quoting GaPony: Quote: Any particular reason you changed the name of the executable from AnyDVD.exe to AnyDVDTray.exe? No problem...just noticed it when looking through my registry. Maybe it changed in 6.3.0.10... Quoting James: Quote: Yes, the reason is because DVDProfiler "blacklisted" AnyDVD.exe, because AnyDVD altered the DiscID values returned from IDvdInfo2::GetDiscID Now AnyDVD hooks IDvdInfo2::GetDiscID so there is no reason for it to blacklist it in DVDProfiler, and no reason to unblacklist and version check either (no IDvdInfo2::GetDiscID support from AnyDVD.exe, IDvdInfo2::GetDiscID support from AnyDVDtray.exe) | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." |

| Posted: | | | | WOW!!!! I am impressed, although it took him a LOOOOOONG time to recognize his problem and fix it. I don't think it was Invelos or Ken that blacklisted ANYDVD, I think it was THIS COMMUNITY once we became aware of the issue. Good job, gang, ^5s all around.

| Posted: | | | | As things are now, the older version will still be blocked.
The older version is named AnyDVD.exe and that is blocked by DVDP.
The new version is named AnyDVDTray.exe and that is not blocked by DVDP.
Disclaimer: I haven't installed the new version yet so I can't say for myself that it's true |
