| | Posted: | | | | This isn't really a problem with DVD Profiler, but a requested function. If it exists I haven't found it. I would be able to do online DB searches based on Actors names to pull up say all movies done by actor or director. It would be tied to the "Add a DVD" function and would be very useful especially when searching for unknown titles and you know who is in the movie but you can't remember the title. Added to the "Add DVD to Collection" where one may search for titles would be excellent, thus giving the ability to add the discovered movie to "Owned" "Ordered" or "Wish List". Thanks! Would everyone accept that as a compromise? |

I would not mind an increase in size if it does not impact the search speed to a large degree. Disk space these days is surely not an issue to most persons I don't think, is it? |

I don't think this is stated enough. Since we don't have "core movie profiles", the amount of data to download would be huge. Just use the Credit Lookup Tool, or IMDb, and enter the movie name into "Add DVD to Collection". |
