| Posted: | | | | Just came across a few things I wish were in here with the increasing popularity of Blue Ray.
1) Video Codec options : MPEG 4 AVC, VC-1 2) Disc Capacity : 25GB or 50GB for Blu-ray, 15GB or 30GB for HD-DVD (I think) 3) Media Type option available in reports : It would be nice to have a DVD, Blu-ray or HD-DVD symbol to put into a report 4) Advanced Blu-ray options such as PIP & Blu-ray Live. (I realize that this has been debated in a seperate thread and I'm not looking to start it all over again, just throwing it in there with the others) | | | Panasonic 58" Plasma HDTV | Panasonic Blu-ray | Sony Reciever | Polk Speakers
402 Blu-rays | 683 DVDs |

| Posted: | | | | How about BluRay regions as well? The region makeup is very different than the DVD regions. ie- Region 1 doesn't include the same countries as Region A |

| Posted: | | | | One thing that I would like to see changed is the option to exclude formats that you don't currently own. I currently do no have any Blue-ray or HD-DVD's in my collection, nor the hardware to play such media and I think it would be nice when I am adding DVD's to be able to exclude HD and BR formats from my searches. I know that I can do it each time I open the search box and uncheck the two formats, but I think it would be nice if I could default them to be excluded and if I were to pick up a couple of blu-ray or HD-DVD's and a player, I could easily un-exclude them in my default configurations. |
