| Posted: | | | | I would like to have the ability to have separate collections for BR, HDDVD and DVD. What i mean is a tag/button with all the DVD's in collection. One which only shows the Blu-ray. One which only shows HD-DVD (including combo's). It would also be nice to have for each collection a separate numbering. I know u can several collection, but you have to load them separately, would be better to have them at a mouse click.... |

| Posted: | | | | We indeed need a filter section category for the HD DVD/DVD combos.
The combos are included in the DVD filter but they do not show when I use only the HD DVD filter.
Either a separate category or an automatic feature that shows a combo when either DVD only or HD DVD only is selceted.
I don't think a split up in different categories is needed as long as I can filter all the media that I own. | | | Last edited: by Bartman |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, yes, and is the default setting, I guess. But this filters all of my DVDs and the HD DVD/DVD combos.
I would like to have the possibility to filter only the HD DVDs and the HD DVD/DVD combos :-). The reason for my request: I count the HD DVD combos as HD DVDs, I don't care that much that they have DVD playback capabilities. It is good to have it, no doubt, yet when I like to check how many HD DVDs I own, I only want to know the count of how many HD DVDs there are in the collection (including the combos). | | | Last edited: by Bartman |

| Posted: | | | | No, that setting will show only the combos.
To show both HD DVD and HD DVD/DVD combo, select only 'HD-DVD'.
To show only HD DVD and not combos, select HD-DVD, 'not' DVD, and select 'And'. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | :-) I think it does not work with my collection :-).
I own the HD DVD combos Happy Feet, Superman Returns, Miami Vice, I am Legend and many more.
But they are not included when I set the filter to HD DVD only (which means removing the DVD and Blu-ray check mark).
I suppose this is because when I edit the profile, I see that the Combos all have the Media Type DVD plus HD DVD checked. But I did not set both those media types.
Do I have to remove the DVD media type from all the Combos manually by editing all the combo profiles?
It may make sense to mark the combos with DVD and HD DVD media types, yet to sort them out, how the program works now, I can't do it at the moment. | | | Last edited: by Bartman |

| Posted: | | | | Ken's instructions work fine.
To get all HD DVD and HD DVD Combos, check HD DVD and leave both Blu-ray and DVD indeterminate (the grey check).
To get HD DVD only, check HD DVD, uncheck DVD, leave Blu-ray set to the grey check and check the And radio button.
To get HD DVD Combos only, check both HD DVD and DVD, leave Blu-ray set to the grey check and make sure And is checked. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |

| Posted: | | | | Wow, yes it works, sorry folks the concept with the grey and black checkmarks in the checkboxes, I didn't understood it first. It is the solution.
I thought I had to remove the DVD and Blu-ray checkmarks so that those boxes are completely unchecked.
Ok, cool it works now, yet I don't think it is a completely foolproof system (I am the best example it is not :-).
Thanks for the help, guys :-)
132 HD DVDs and counting (and 15 of those are combos, it works, cool :-) | | | Last edited: by Bartman |
