Will DVDP mobile work with the Dell X50V?  Its touchscreen and has either Windows Mobile 5 or 6.  Will profiler work with 6 or will I have to go back to 5?

Also, on average how big is a 1000 profile collection on the device?

You can always download and install the trial and upload a portion of your collection to see if it's compatible. I don't see why it wouldn't be. If it has Windows Mobile 6, it must be the Professional version of 6 as the Standard WM 6 does not have touchscreen support.

I have everything installed on my 2 GB SD card. My collection currenly has 2,187 profiles and occupies 840 MB.

Sorted.  I dont yet have the PDA, just won the auction yesterday (Link).

It comes with a 2GB SD and 4GB CF card so I guess I'll be ok there.

Looking forward to having 2 symbols next to my name

Cheers 8ball

Okay so I recieved the PDA a few weeks  but I had a few problems with it locking up so I re-flashed it with a rom file that was on the sd card (which turn out to be WM6 classic).

Strange thing is DVDP works fine on it    I thought it only worked on WM6 pro but hey I aint complainin'

I'll no doubt be posting plently of comments and questions after I've been using the program for a few months

If memory serves, it works with Pro and Classic - Classic are for "pure" PDAs, while Pro (and standard) are for phones...
The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson)
